Pete Lien & Sons, Inc., a leader in multi-state mining, mineral processing, and construction materials, is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. About the Role

•

Perform chemical and physical tests to ensure product compliance with ACI, ASTM, AASHTO and PCI standards.

•

Collect and prepare samples from plants and job sites for analysis.

•

Conduct in-depth problem-solving, data analysis, and troubleshooting of material performance issues.

•

Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring an organized and efficient testing environment.

•

Collaborate with team members to resolve quality concerns in the lab, at the plant, and in the field, including adjusting concrete mixes using appropriate admixtures.

•

Provide support to production teams, sales staff, and customers regarding product quality and safety.

What We’re Looking For

•

A strong foundation in chemistry, statistics, and quality control preferred.

•

Proficiency in mathematical functions and computer skills for data entry.

•

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow precise procedures.

•

Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

•

A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
