Quality Control Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee and enhance our quality assurance processes within our metal fabrication operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding inspection, ISO 9001 quality systems, and a proven track record of managing quality in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the current quality control systems and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 standards, while also looking for ways to further enhance the current systems and procedures.

- Lead inspection for in-process components and finished products.

- Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

- Collaborate with the production team and supervisors to ensure quality standards are met throughout the fabrication process.

- Maintain and update quality documentation, including inspection reports, calibration records, and quality manuals.

- Interface with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues and audits.

- Prepare and present quality performance metrics to senior management.

Qualifications:

- 3–5 years of experience in quality control within a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.

- In-depth knowledge of AWS D1.1 and/or D1.2 welding standards and inspection techniques.

- Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, including audits and documentation.

- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work autonomously and within established guidelines, procedures, and practices.
