Our company seeks a Quality Control Inspector who can test, document, troubleshoot and prepare our products for Delivery. The successful candidate will have a creative, innovative approach to his or her work and will never shy away from offering frank observations and recommendations. We’re looking for a highly organized, methodical professional with the experience necessary to take our products to the next level in terms of safety, security and accuracy. A proven track record of experience is essential.

Quality Control

•

Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.

•

Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.

•

Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.

•

Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.

•

Troubleshoot all instrumentation devices.

•

Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.

•

Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.

•

Report inspection and test data.

•

Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.

•

Create an effective/efficient testing protocol to be used across all product lines.

•

Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate (and correct) issues and complaints relating to quality.

•

Inspect and test activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity.

•

Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.

•

Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.

•

Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.

•

Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures.

•

Interpret quality control philosophy within company.

•

Provide, and oversee, inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.

•

Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.

•

Interact with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts.

•

Create and direct environmental test functions and applications.

•

Maintain active role on internal continuous improvement teams.

•

Design, develop and implement quality control training programs.

Assist in all safety initiatives

Education:

•

Bachelor’s degree in any concentration preferred, experience can substitute degree on a 1:1 basis.

Experience:

•

Five+ years of Quality Control

•

Excellent time management
