Our company seeks a Quality Control Inspector who can test, document, troubleshoot and prepare our products for Delivery. The successful candidate will have a creative, innovative approach to his or her work and will never shy away from offering frank observations and recommendations. We’re looking for a highly organized, methodical professional with the experience necessary to take our products to the next level in terms of safety, security and accuracy. A proven track record of experience is essential.
Quality Control
•Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
•Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
•Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
•Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
•Troubleshoot all instrumentation devices.
•Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
•Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.
•Report inspection and test data.
•Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
•Create an effective/efficient testing protocol to be used across all product lines.
•Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate (and correct) issues and complaints relating to quality.
•Inspect and test activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity.
•Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.
•Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.
•Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
•Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures.
•Interpret quality control philosophy within company.
•Provide, and oversee, inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.
•Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.
•Interact with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts.
•Create and direct environmental test functions and applications.
•Maintain active role on internal continuous improvement teams.
•Design, develop and implement quality control training programs.
HSE
•Assist in all safety initiatives
Education:
•Bachelor’s degree in any concentration preferred, experience can substitute degree on a 1:1 basis.
Experience:
•Five+ years of Quality Control
•Excellent time management
•Ability to translate skills and knowledge to others.
•Ability to effectively communicate clearly.
•Analytical, logical thought process and meticulous attention to detail.
•Work will independently and in a team setting.
