Overview
Responsible to inspect all raw material and products (incoming inspection, production inspection, finished goods before delivery) and provide technical guidance to the Production staff.
Key Responsibilities
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
•Supports the quality department by performing and recording inspections
•Plans, performs and follows up Magnetic Testing, Dye Penetrant & CR Film Interpretation, operations on TDW products in TMP
•Establishes non-conformity reports when necessary
•Is responsible for the necessary administration by maintaining various databases, reports and files to support the QC function
•Takes all the actions to keep tools and instruments in conformity with the ISO procedures and QA/QC recommendations
•Suggests and discusses with the Quality Manager improvements on processes, equipment and tools
•Ensures that products containing non-conformity are under control by placing non conform products into quarantine area
•Provides and archives technical data (codes and standards) and records to increase customer satisfaction
•Supplies technical assistance (defect detection, acceptance and rejection) to the manufacturing department by making NDE controls
Experience
•Experience in the welding process (as welder or as inspector) is a very good asset
•Experience in Quality Control is required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•Good knowledge in machine design, machining, drawings and QC activities
•Open to learn new technical tools as 3D arm, PMI, OES device
•Must be able to obtain MT, PT & RFI certifications
•Good organization skills, flexible, stress resistant and team spirit
•Rigorous, accurate and reliable
