We are seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The Quality Control Inspector will be performing first-off, in-process, and final inspections of Maverick Downhole Technologies products. The Quality Control Inspector will coordinate with other departments including assembly, manufacturing and shipping/receiving.
This is a morning shift 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm.
- Responsible to perform final inspection and review the markings of manufactured and tested tool assemblies.
- Responsible to verify test data results are within acceptance criteria requirements issued by engineering (including: FAT results, and Assembly acceptance criteria).
- Responsible to perform incoming inspections for supplier manufactured products against DIRS, MTRs, COCs, and Maverick Downhole Technologies drawings.
- Responsible to release parts and components from NCR and quarantine areas after verification of product requirements.
- Responsible to initiate Nonconformance Reports where requirements are not met.
- Responsible to perform dimensional inspection of Maverick Downhole Technologies' machined components using calibrated tooling, including: Micrometers, Calipers, MRPs, and Hand gauges as optical comparators.
- Responsible to review and upload material and service certificates in accordance with Quality Assurance records requirements.
- Responsible to maintain: All hard copies and electronic QA/QC documentation in SharePoint, emails, and photocopying and printing.
- Responsible for performing in-house calibration of all measurement tools and equipment, ensuring they meet accuracy standards and comply with internal quality procedures and international standards.
- Maintaining calibration records, troubleshooting tool discrepancies, and coordinating external calibration services when necessary to uphold the integrity of the measurement system.
- Responsible for maintaining QA/QC priority logs and other department databases.
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control
- Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, standards, and work instructions
- Ability to determine pass/fail criteria based on results
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work and review of documentation
- Strong computer literacy with experience using SharePoint and other digital collaboration tools
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers
- Proficiency in computer software and browser applications including tablets, laptops, and hand scanners
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
