Quality Control Inspector

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards by conducting thorough inspections and tests throughout the manufacturing process. This role requires a strong understanding of quality management systems and regulatory compliance, including ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and CGMP. The Quality Control Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Duties

- Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.

- Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, HACCP, and other relevant standards.

- Utilize Calypso software for data collection and analysis of inspection results.

- Operate vision inspection systems to detect defects and ensure product integrity.

- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.

- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and non-conformances in accordance with quality systems.

- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.

- Support training initiatives for staff on quality assurance practices and standards.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.

- Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, CGMP, HACCP, and ISO 9001 standards is highly desirable.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on findings.

- Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) is a plus.

- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other QA/QC tools.

- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

- Strong communication skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
