Quality Control Inspector

Job Overview Azure MicroDynamics, Inc. is a precision machine shop located in the beautiful city of Foothill Ranch, CA. We specialize in complex, tight tolerance, micro parts machined primarily on Swiss-style lathes. We are a Preferred Employer and a growing company looking to add an experienced Quality Control Inspector to our team.

Position:

* Inspect small to micro parts daily, both with hand inspection equipment and automated measuring equipment such as a Keyance and Smart Scope as well as documenting measurements following company policies and procedures while utilizing a high level of experience and good judgement.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.

- Ability to properly utilize hand inspection tools (Mic’s & Calipers etc.).

- Minimum 5 years experience on Inspecting machined parts.

- Familiar with AS9100D, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 requirements.

Daily job duties include, but not limited to

- Properly documenting measured dimensions into quality reports.

- Ability to measure all print dimensions per industry standards.

- Able to measure up to +/-.0001 tolerances as needed.

- Able to verify First Article Inspection Reports.

- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures.

- Complete paperwork in a timely manner as required.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.

- Maintain a positive attitude and promote a team approach throughout the Department.

Familiar with HighQA a bonus but not required.

Current Location: Foothill Ranch, California

Shift: 1st Shift - Full Time

Hours: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm + overtime and Saturdays as needed
