How?
As onsite QA/QC Lead, you will play a critical role in the Bahamas Project (LNG storage and regasification terminal). Your experience and expertise will be used to lead and manage the Project from a QA/QC standpoint.
What?
As the QA/QC Lead you shall be responsible for the onsite management of the Project Quality Assurance per the site-specific Quality Management Plan (QMP) and shall implement the necessary controls and documentation to ensure Quality inspections, Observations and Non-Conformances are documented and organised sufficiently to support flawless start-up of the asset.
The QA/QC Lead will be expected to be a key integrator between the discipline inspection team and the Contractors and Vendors.
Accountabilities:
•Focal Point for the Project Manager on all Quality documentation and investigations in the field.
•Providing direction and guidance to onsite discipline inspectors to ensure proper focus on documentation of inspection requirements per ITPs.
•Leading the development and execution of the Quality Data Books for system handover with the various Contractors and Vendors. Ensuring each system has the necessary documentation and approvals prior to progressing into commissioning.
•Ensuring proper drawings and specifications are used and disseminated to the various onsite parties (inspectors, implementation contractor(s)) per the Document Control and Assurance process.
•Managing Project Non-Conformance Report (NCR) to resolution including documenting NCRs in the SharePoint Tracking Tool. Coordinate investigations and action plans to address deficiencies.
•Tracking and Trending Non-Conformances for review with recommendations for potential improvement initiatives. This includes Coordinating NCRs with appropriate SMEs to ensure proper action plans are approved prior to close out.
•Providing assurance of available OWNER representatives to support required inspections per the scheduled tasks. Ensuring a process of notification of required inspection is in place and sufficiently working to prevent missed inspections or delays.
•Ensuring all Contractors and Venders adherence to the approved Quality Management System (QMS). The Project will have an overarching Quality Management Plan (QMP) but will also be expected to be knowledgeable of each Contractor/Vendor’s QMS system as well.
•Develop Audit plan for QMS review as necessary.
•Working knowledge of applicable ISO 9000 family of standards.
•Track and Monitor Quality KPIs per the Project QMP. KPIs may include Weld Rejection Rate and NCRs (open/closed & Impact).
•Train and support onsite team on Quality best practices and expectations.
Experience Required:
•Minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA/QC lead managing Oil and Gas facility projects or heavy industrial construction.
•Good Communication and presentation skills both verbal and written.
•Fluent English reading, verbal and written.
