Job Description
This position applies advanced knowledge of Quality principles and practices to a broad range of project assignments. This role plans and executes a wide variety of technical and administrative assignments and effectively interacts with others. This position may serve as Quality Representative on small to medium projects.
• Communicate effectively with department and project personnel regarding Quality policies and procedures
• Assist in the preparation of project audit schedules, discipline activity plans for the Quality function, and audit reports (internal and external), noting non-conformances and verifying effective corrective action
• Assist (if directed by senior Quality management) the Project Manager in developing an orientation program to ensure that the project teams are familiar with the requirements of the Project Quality Plan; including other Quality matters, if required
• Act as a Quality auditor ad may follow up on audit findings and corrective actions
• Assess (if directed by senior Quality management) the ability of the suppliers to meet the Quality requirements of the project
• Assist in the maintenance of project Quality records for all phases of the project
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and five (5) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to nine (9) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Other Job Requirements
Proof of US Citizenship is required
• Nuclear construction required
• Ability to obtain and maintain Q clearance if required
• Previous experience as a certified Level II QC Piping/Welding Inspector
• Experience converting engineering requirements in drawings and specification into inspections and testing requirements for engineering approval
Preferred Qualifications
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering/technical preferred
• Experience working under International Building Code
• Experience working under Department of Energy Orders 414.1D Quality Assurance and 226.1B DOE Oversight of Contractors Program
• Experience working to requirements of ASME NQA-1-2019
• Five (5) years of related Quality/project experience
• Moderate interpersonal and communication skills
• Moderate leadership and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering/technical preferred
• Advanced degree in engineering discipline/technical field, or administration area preferred
• Auditor certification by outside agency (e.g., Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB), American Society for Quality (ASQ), International Quality Associates (IQA), etc.) preferred
• Five (5) years of related Quality/project experience
• Moderate interpersonal and communication skills
• Moderate leadership and decision-making skills
Salary Range
92,500 to 162,500
Market Rate
The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
