Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tech to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. This position requires a strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and a passion for delivering high-quality applications across various platforms, including mobile and web.
- Review contract requirements, engineering standards, and specifications. This ensures compliance throughout the project.
- Develop and implement Activity Quality Plans: These documents establish procedures, personnel qualifications, roles, responsibilities, inspection methods, and record-keeping for each construction task
- Material verification: Inspect incoming materials (pipe, fittings, etc.) for damage, ensure they meet specifications (size, grade, alignment, etc.), and verify proper storage and handling procedures are being followed. (Receiving shipments)
- Excavation and trenching: Verify trench depth, width, and alignment. Ensure proper bedding and backfilling procedures to prevent pipe damage or dents.
- Welding: Closely monitor that proper welding procedures are being utilized. Document daily all weld completed in daily weld log and on weld maps.
- Non-destructive testing (NDT): Confirm correct procedure is used and all documentation is up to date (OQ’s, Certs & Eye Exam). All welds are properly marked with Weld #’s & Welder Stencil.
- Coating and Repair: Inspect for coating damage and ensure proper repair procedures are followed. Record readings for daily coating (Profile, Ambience & DFT’s), Confirm all equipment is up to date and calibrated. Note welds being coated to include in coating reports
- General workmanship: Perform daily checks to ensure continuous compliance with contract drawings and specifications.
- Safety compliance: Ensure proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use, adherence to safety procedures like Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and safe handling techniques for equipment and pipelines.
- Hydrostatic testing: All documents (layout and equipment) match what has been submitted in for Hydro Pre-Approvals
- As-built documentation: Accurately document the final layout, depth, fittings, and any field changes encountered during construction.
- Cleanup and restoration: Remove unused materials, clean up the site, and restore landscaping.
- Scan and email daily sign in sheets & JSA’s
- All Reports to be scanned and emailed
