Purchasing/Inventory Coordinator

Jet Specialty, Inc.- A 45 year old oilfield supply company is seeking a Purchasing/Inventory Coordinator for our UL Panel Shop in Midland, Tx. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing/ Inventory Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential for managing and optimizing our inventory processes, ensuring that our supply chain operates smoothly and efficiently.

Must be highly motivated, a team player, highly organized and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.

Applicant must be able to pass a drug test and a background check.

Responsibilities

- Oversee inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment of stock.

- Manage procurement processes, including sourcing and purchasing materials.

- Purchase and maintain Inventory - Transfer Inventory, Maintain Accurate Inventory Counts, Maintain base level of standard items

- Allocate material for panel builds- Stocking and Organizing build bins for each job

- Assemble and Transfer Material in Sage

- Maintain Accurate BOM's for each job

- Conduct regular audits of inventory to maintain control and accuracy.

- Coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery.

- Communicate with receiver and provide tracking information

- Acquire pricing for quotes / new builds

- Implement best practices in supply chain management to enhance efficiency.

- Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, managing performance and compliance.

- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and propose improvements.

Skills

- Strong knowledge of procurement management, including sourcing and purchasing strategies.

- Solid understanding of supply chain management principles.

- Experience in inventory control processes and methodologies.

- Ability to manage logistics effectively within a manufacturing environment.

- Strong analytical skills to assess data related to inventory levels and supply chain performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
