Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Unit Supervisor to oversee our production unit for the Bakken. The Pumping Unit Service Quality Supervisor plays a vital role in promoting a safe and efficient work environment through proactive field engagement and continuous oversight. This position is responsible for conducting daily site visits to monitor PUS operations, ensuring adherence to LLS standard operating procedures (SOPs), and providing on-the-spot supervision, instruction, and coaching when necessary.
- Daily field visits to pumping unit service jobs to observe, supervise, and instruct when needed.
- Ensure LLS standard operating procedures (SOPs) are being followed on PUS jobs.
- Ensure correct PPE is being worn on location and the correct PPE is being used for the job. (i.e., job specific PPE, different glove uses, etc.)
- Verifying crane, bucket, and other equipment is fit for duty on location.
- Verifying daily, monthly, and annual equipment inspections for PUS equipment.
- Verifying employee safety certifications and operating certifications including but not limited to: JSA review, Job Planning reviews, Ride Along's, Field Audit & Inspections, Improvement Projects.
- Performing Behavior Based Safety Observations, including but not limited to general observations, near misses, stop work authority.
- Meet regularly with PUS supervisors to discuss findings in the field, improvements, challenges, observations from prior week/day.
- Verifying crane, bucket and other equipment is fit for duty on location. (Review DVIR’s to insure they are complete and correct.)
- High school Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 5+ Years Pumping Unit Service Experience Minimum - 2+ Years experience in crane/rigging operations - 2+ years in arial lift operations- Knowledge of NCCCO, DOT, Arial Lift requirements
- Knowledge of DVIR, pre-trip, post-trip requirements
- Team oriented, ability to take leadership role when on site
- Current or previous NCCCO
- Current or previous CDL
- Current or previous rigging certification
- Current or previous PEC or equivalent certification
- Previous leadership experience
