- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair various types of pumps used in oilfield applications, including centrifugal, reciprocating, and positive displacement pumps.
- Perform routine maintenance and overhauls on pumps, valves, seals, and rotating equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Disassemble and reassemble mechanical components using appropriate tools, following technical drawings and OEM specifications.
- Diagnose equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Test pump systems for leaks, vibrations, and performance issues before and after maintenance or installation
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts usage in maintenance logs or CMMS systems.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety policies, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with operations and field service teams to support job site equipment needs and mobilizations.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new pump systems at field or shop locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly store tools and spare parts.
- EDUCATION: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years’ experience working with mobile water pumps
- TRAVEL: Varies depending on job site
- OTHER:
o Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening
o Must possess a valid Driver’s License and pass a MVR
o Able and willing to work a rotating shift schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime (if applicable)
o Able and willing to work in inclement weather, climb structures, perform work at heights, and in enclosed spaces
o Able and willing to work both independently in remote locations and in a team environment
