Pump Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pump Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on pump systems, industrial engines, and related technologies. This role involves both field service and technical support, ensuring that our equipment operates efficiently and meets customer expectations.

Responsibilities

- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of various pump systems, engines, and components.

- Troubleshoot issues using programmable logic controllers (PLC) and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on pumps, hydraulics, industrial engines such as ajax, continental, Fairbanks, and other mechanical equipment.

- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate diagnostics and repairs.

- Provide technical sales support by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions.

- Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, and parts used.

- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards.

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial mechanics and maintenance.

- Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings related to pump systems.

- Ability to analyze problems effectively and provide timely solutions.

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English.

- Previous field service experience is a REQUIREMENT

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
