Protection & Automation Developer/Engineer Southern Company Services, Technical Shared Services (TSS) – P&C Applications (PCA) / Substation Integration & Automation (SIA) WORK LOCATION, SCHEDULE, & TRAVEL

Position Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining critical applications used by SIA and PCA engineers for configuring transmission substations and developing protective relay settings. This role involves collaboration with a team environment to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring efficient data handling, and system functionality. In addition, the candidate will support innovation through evaluation of commercially available automation, substation monitoring, protection engineering, work management, and cyber security solutions.
