Position Specific Description

The Project Services Senior Project Manager will provide NextProject subject matter expert (SME) support along with cost, schedule, process and crossing agreement support for Project Services and developers. This position requires a subject matter expert level of utilizing NextProject in order to lead and provide training to others.

Key Responsibilities

•

Perform as lead SME providing NextProject training and support of projects & team.

•

Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand budgetary requirements and constraints.

•

Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to track budget performance across projects.

•

Provide insights and recommendations to optimize budget utilization and enhance cost efficiency.

•

Conduct regular reviews of project financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies and regulations.

•

Assist in the development and implementation of budgeting processes and procedures.

•

Support cross-functional teams in resolving budget-related issues and discrepancies.

•

Provide crossing agreement support.

•

Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in project controls and budget analytics.

Ideal candidate will have experience in NextProject, Six Sigma methodologies, Business analysis, Process design and documentation, Financial analysis, Data analysis, Project Management, Risk analysis and Lean procedures.

Job Overview

Employees in this role develop and execute plans for new and enhanced generation projects. This job is responsible for resource allocation, schedules, cost and technical adequacy, ensuring the project or transaction is completed in the most cost-effective and competitive manner. This position manages all aspects of the business deal and ensures the project is completed on time and within budgetary constraints.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

•

Manages all aspects of the day-to-day transaction process to ensure timely completion as well as a cost-effective and competitive result

•

Leads and coordinates key functions such as financial feasibility analyses, engineering/design, project legal review, permitting activities and financial negotiations

•

Responsible for managing multiple and complex projects

•

Coordinates due diligence activities with other internal groups to ensure proper analysis and structuring of assigned projects

•

Acts as liaison between internal and external specialists regarding procurement, contracting, permitting and interconnection

•

Constructs contractual arrangements for project development

•

Negotiates agreements with consultants and subcontractors

•

Ensures compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements

•

Fosters external relationships with customers, third parties and members of the community

•

Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

•

High School Grad/GED

•

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience

•

Experience: 5+ years
