Position Summary:
The Project Planner will provide support to the project management team, ensuring efficient operations and contributing to the successful execution of projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:•Attends field visits for site planning purposes.
•Provides permit design sketches.
•Completes permit applications and filings.
•Provides inventory support.
•Assists in vehicle/fleet management.
•Utilize forklift to load and unload and/or move pallets of materials.
•Responsible for planning and scheduling various project workloads to ensure the project is on schedule.
•Gathers and analyzes information to prepare status reports.
•Ensures that assignment and scheduling of work follows company policy.
•Evaluates current procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects.
•Tracks and records costs through work orders and invoices.
•Ensures that all work orders and projects are properly documented and closed in scheduling systems.
•Evaluates the level of schedule compliance and identifies reasons for completion shortfalls.
•Provides administrative and logistical support including meeting arrangement, progress tracking, and documentation.
•Driving on behalf of the company to execute project-related tasks to support the job.
•Other duties and project management support may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience:•High School Diploma or GED required
•0-3 years related experience preferred
•Microsoft Office suite experience required
•CRM software experience preferred
•CAD experience preferred
•Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record per insurance requirements for job-related purposes.
•Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
•Upon employment, this position is subject to random drug testing in compliance with federal, state and company guidelines

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
•General working hours between 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
•Minimal outdoor working environment in seasonal heat and cold or other weather conditions
•Driving a vehicle to and from work sites in all types of weather conditions and in heavy traffic and/or at night
•May require use of hands and fingers to operate specialized equipment and tools; reaching overhead above the shoulders and horizontally; bending at the waist; standing and or walking for extended periods of time; hearing and speaking to exchange information; carrying 3-5 lb. electronic locating equipment for extended periods of time; lifting objects up to 50 pounds or lifting in excess of 50 lbs. with tool aids.
•Approximately 75% of the work may be performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds unassisted. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
•The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
