Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Program Manager this position will oversee the Small Meter Project. The position will include both in office and in field work. The Project Manager will manage the client relationship, coordinate scheduling, review quality of installations, conduct installs and support installers in the field as needed.
General Responsibilities:
•Ensure completion of scheduled appointments and install water meters, radios, associated appurtenances and disassemble + dispose of the removed meters.
•Hire, develop and manage team of installers to complete meter deployment.
•Assist in training of the meter installers.
•Administer field quality assurance and warranty issues.
•Manage and support field staff.
•Complete plumbing repairs as required.
•Investigate and document any leaks or claims.
•Develop corrective measures to address quality issues around workmanship.
•Provide input to project plans and project schedules.
•Meet with client to review installation data.
•Generate and review monthly invoices for work completed.
•Respond to customer inquiries, problem solving in a professional and effective fashion and acting as a resource in resolving customer issues brought to the department.
•Provide feedback to the Company regarding service failures or customer concerns. Provide feedback to the Field Services team to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information on order status and/or changes.
•Follow Safety requirements and enforce safety requirements on installers.
•Conduct regular toolbox meetings as new safety concerns arise or to review ongoing safety concerns and follow ups.
•Keep an active inventory of shop to ensure material doesn’t run out before it is required.
•Conduct monthly/quarterly/yearly inspections including but not limited to General Site/storage Inspections, Fire extinguisher inspections, fire drills, etc.
•Any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time by your manager.
Education and Experience:
•2+ years experience Installing Water Meters.
•2+ years' experience in supervisory role.
•Experience with plumbing.
•Experience using handhelds/workflows for capturing install data.
•Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
•Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, and Outlook.
•Ability to work on tight deadlines
