Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to lead our project teams and ensure the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project engineering, along with excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, with an emphasis on root cause analysis and cost control.
Responsibilities
•Lead project planning sessions, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
•Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned with business objectives.
•Implement lean methodologies and Kaizen principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste throughout the project lifecycle.
•Conduct regular status meetings with stakeholders to communicate progress, address issues, and manage changes effectively.
•Perform root cause analysis on project challenges and develop actionable solutions.
•Oversee change management processes to ensure smooth transitions during project phases.
•Maintain detailed documentation of project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources.
Experience
•Proven experience as a Project Manager in a relevant field, with a strong understanding of project engineering principles.
•Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results.
•Proficiency in project management software such as Jira and VersionOne; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
•Strong analytical skills with experience in cost control and budget management.
•Knowledge of lean methodologies, Kaizen practices, and change management strategies.
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
•Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher education in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or similar degree.
•Must have professional licenses and/or certifications valid in Puerto Rico.
•Must have previous project management experience with federally funded infrastructure projects within the last five (5) years.
•Must have fluent verbal and written communication skills.
