POSITION SUMMARY:
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that estimates are accurate. They will oversee the job from start to finish (with the support of subcontractors and vendors) and are responsible for making sure the customer is satisfied.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Be a good ambassador/representative for COIT Services, Inc.
•Demonstrates professional knowledge of all company products and services.
•Coordinate and manage multiple residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects of various complexities simultaneously. Run larger mitigation jobs as project manager as needed.
•Due to the nature of restoration work, must be available to respond to emergency situations in a timely manner. This includes being available anytime to help the Restoration Department's response to an emergency.
•Inspecting the loss site and determining the scope of work.
•Reviewing the documentation with the customers and signing them up.
•Secures signed work authorization prior to commencing work.
•You MUST know how to write estimates, prepare the budget, and how to prepare purchase orders.
•Negotiate and communicate with the adjustor, TPAs, and Clients and get them to approve the estimate.
•Oversee the subcontractors, temporary labor, and vendors who will carry out the plan.
•Meet with municipal inspectors and secure needed permits as required.
•Communicate effectively and often with the customer about scheduling so they know what to expect every step of the way.
•Manage the customer experience and overall customer satisfaction tracked by online reviews.
•Preplan every task with your immediate team with regards to safety. "Plan the job for Safety."
•Familiar with Third Party Administrator (TPA) programs.
•Proficient with restoration industry management systems such as XactAnalysis, MICA, and other vendor portals.
•Develops Work In Progress (WIP) report for Active Projects
•Invoices all variety of projects including but not limited to fire, water, mold, and asbestos.
•Advocate for full payment on jobs per program estimating guidelines.
•Responsible for accounts receivables (collections) and stay on top of client to maximize quick turnaround.
•Meet company standards for attendance and punctuality.
•Attend training meetings as required.

REQUIREMENTS:
•Excellent communication skills

•Ability to calculate figures and amounts (i.e., discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc.)
•Ability to recognize and rectify problems.
•Extensive knowledge of construction trades
•Working knowledge of building codes and regulatory agencies
•Proficiency in estimating/sketching using Xactimate X1
•Proficiency in estimating/sketching using Symbility.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
•Technical skills in insurance repair and restoration required.
•Expert knowledge of restoration and construction practices and equipment
•Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Proven negotiation skills
•Driving record acceptable to insurance carrier
•Travel to national conventions on occasion.

This position is somewhat physical. There may be extensive walking, standing, stooping, and bending. Periods of time spent sitting at a desk, using a computer, monitor and mouse. Access and mobility in tight spaces. Requires ability to lift and carry boxes of collateral materials (approximately 40 pounds). Traveling requires the safe operation of a personal vehicle.
