Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the construction industry, demonstrating proficiency in contract negotiation, project scheduling, and team coordination. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent time management skills who can effectively manage multiple projects while ensuring quality standards are met.
Duties
•
Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
•
Utilize construction management software, including HeavyBid, to track project progress and manage resources efficiently.
•
Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with various teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
•
Conduct thorough construction estimating to determine project costs and resource requirements.
•
Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
•
Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
•
Monitor construction sites for safety compliance and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
•
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project managers and team members.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
•
Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and methodologies.
•
Proficiency in using construction management software such as HeavyBid for project tracking and reporting.
•
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
•
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
•
Strong understanding of contract management principles related to construction projects.
•
Ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
•
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
