Project Manager - Commercial Construction
Project Manager for General Contractor that works in several states. Looking for a candidate with previous experience in commercial ground up and build-outs construction project management. Work directly with our Director of Construction to run construction projects throughout the U.S. As a Project Manager, you will lead and oversee various aspects of commercial construction projects. Utilizing core skills in construction management software, budgets, material procurement, project scheduling, managing subcontracts, permitting, and project coordination, you will ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This position will require some travel, throughout the U.S (dependent on project location). Travel may be 1-2 days a week or as necessary to effectively manage your project. Travel expenses are paid by company.
Requirements:
•Commercial Construction Experience Required -As a Project Manager (must have min. 5+ yrs)
•Excellent written and verbal skills
•Ability to use computer and type efficiently
•Soliciting subcontractor proposals for upcoming projects
•Strong organizational skills
•Ability to negotiate contracts
•Develop scopes of work for subcontractors
•Review and evaluate subcontractors
•Ability to perform takeoffs
•Some travel as necessary will be required
Responsibilities
•Oversee and manage all phases of commercial construction projects from initiation to completion.
•Utilize construction management software for project scheduling and coordination.
•Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints. Develop subcontractor scopes of work for contracts.
•Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure compliance with contracts and specifications.
•Review blueprints and schematics to ensure project alignment with design intent.
•Implement effective time management strategies to meet project deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
