Summit Construction Management Group is currently seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to work on projects in the state of Florida, multiple locations.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing budgets, timelines, and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Preferred experience to include: ground-up build, tilt-wall, education, industrial, self-storage, and municipal projects.
Key Responsibilities:
•Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of commercial construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
•Lead project teams and collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to deliver successful outcomes.
•Monitor project progress and make adjustments to ensure on-time and within-budget completion.
•Review and approve project plans, contracts, change orders, and other documentation.
•Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
•Conduct regular site visits to track progress and address issues promptly.
•Manage procurement of materials and equipment.
•Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and company leadership.
•Handle project closeout procedures, including punch lists, inspections, and final documentation.
Qualifications:
•5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
•Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
•Proficiency in construction project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Buildertrend).
•Self-storage, Municipality, Educational facilities experience
•Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
•OSHA certification and PMP certification (preferred).
Working Conditions:
•Combination of office (remote) and on-site work.
•Will involve travel to various job sites around the state of Florida.
•Must be able to work extended hours/weekends when necessary to meet deadlines.
