Role Description

In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in enhancing our Enterprise Financial Model and supporting our capital raising and M&A initiatives. We're looking for someone who thrives on innovation, seeks efficiency, and is passionate about clean energy.

This is a full-time remote role for a Project Finance Analyst. The Project Finance Analyst will be responsible for conducting financial modeling, analyzing financial data, aiding in the preparation of financial reports, and supporting investment decisions.

Minimum Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills

- Knowledge of Finance and Accounting

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Proficient in Financial Modeling

- Excellent Communication skills

- Ability to work independently and remotely

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

- Eagerness to learn about risk management, financial modeling, and partnership structures.

Ideal Candidate

- Experience in project finance or the renewable energy sector is a plus

- Proficiency in financial software and tools

- Experience in energy markets, tax equity structures, investment tax credits (ITCs), or derivatives is a strong advantage.

- A passion for clean energy and a desire to tackle meaningful, large-scale challenges.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and optimize the financial analysis of large-scale battery storage systems.

- Support the valuation and assessment process of M&A opportunities.

- Lead and refine financial analysis for large-scale battery storage systems.

- Support valuation and due diligence for M&A opportunities.

- Contribute to capital raising efforts by preparing and optimizing financial models.

- Maintain and enhance the input repository of the enterprise financial model.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external advisors.

- Assist with special projects, including new system implementations and entity structuring.

- Help build the financial foundation of a fast-growing clean energy company.

- Gain hands-on experience in both project-level and corporate finance.

- Work closely with leaders across finance, energy markets, and project development.

- Contribute to initiatives that shape the future of clean energy and energy storage.

- Continuously improve and evolve our financial modeling capabilities.
