About The Role

Axiom Builders is looking for a motivated Project Engineer to join our team for the development of a multi-phase mixed-use project in Nashville, Tennessee. This first phase of the project will integrate residential, commercial, and recreational spaces, creating a dynamic urban environment. Your support will be crucial in ensuring the project runs smoothly, stays on schedule, and meets budgetary goals. You’ll collaborate closely with a diverse team, manage essential project documentation, and tackle challenges head-on to help us deliver Axioms Builders first development in Nashville .

Key Responsibilities

•

Collect, organize, and maintain all project materials including (but not limited to): drawings, specifications, purchase orders, design plans, contract documents, file correspondence;

•

Prepare change order documentation and tracking of all contracts change orders and purchase orders;

•

Assist with the sample and shop drawing review process throughout the project including review, distribution, and final approvals electronically;

•

Report on project progress and productivity to senior management and clients;

•

Ensure compliance with on-site and company-wide health and safety protocols and policies;

•

Communicate with sub-trades to assist ing budgeting to ensure they understand their scope of work;

•

Review designs and use knowledge of construction methods to determine t he most cost-effective approach.

Skills And Experience

•

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in project management or a related field;

•

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management , Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline;

•

Proficiency in Procore, MS Project and other construction-related software will be considered a strong asset;

•

Academic experience or professional exposure to Design or VCON will be considered an asset;

•

Excellent interpersonal and communication (written/verbal) skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines;

•

Willing and excited to work on - site and be actively involved in project execution.
