Job Summary
As a Project Engineer, you will support project management in coordinating, planning, and executing contracted work. You will work closely with field teams, general contractors, and suppliers to ensure our scope is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination of subcontracted work.
•Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and subcontract agreements.
•Communicate with general contractors, site supervisors, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow.
•Support material procurement, tracking deliveries, and managing inventory.
•Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with contract requirements.
•Assist in preparing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation.
•Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
•Help resolve field issues, technical challenges, and coordination conflicts.
•Participate in progress meetings and report on project status.
Qualifications & Skills:
•Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
•1-3 years of experience in a construction-related role (preferred but not required).
•Experience working with subcontractors or trade-specific scopes is a plus.
•Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or trade-specific programs).
•Strong organizational and communication skills.
•Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
•Knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
