We are seeking a Project Development Associate to join our team and support the new business line of project development and aid TRH ongoing growth in the USA market.
Responsibilities:
•Build and maintain financial models.
•Support the Project Development team to originate and perform due diligence on project co-development opportunities.
•Create rigorous, persuasive internal presentations for the SVP (and eventually the investment committee and CEO) at multiple stages of project development.
•Run and maintain “project finance-style” financial models.
•Draft internal documentation (approvals, updates, compliance, legal, etc.).
•Proactively build relationships with external parties involved in our projects, including landowners, local, state and federal authorities, consultants, lawyers, financial advisors, utility and service providers, etc.
•Create development budgets and schedules.
•Once a project is approved, support the technical, commercial and financing development activities through achievement of Final Investment Decision (FID) and/or Financial Close.
•Coordinate with resources in our Madrid office for engineering, compliance, legal, tax and financing support.
•Coordinate with the U.S. EPC commercial team for FEED studies and EPC contracts.
Requirements:
•BA in engineering, economics, business (or related field).
•Familiarity with financial modelling.
•2+ years of experience in the finance, energy or energy transition industries.
•Experience with rigorous, in-depth presentations for external and internal audiences.
•Motivated to drive the team’s growth and success.
•Takes ownership of tasks.
•Comfortable in multicultural, multilingual environment.
