Centerfire is currently seeking self-motivated, experienced individual to join our workforce as a Project Controls.
- Assist with Budget Tracking, Invoicing and Cost Control, including monitoring spend vs. forecast, and flagging variances.
- Compile and maintain Project and Progress Reports for internal and client reporting.
- Support Scope Change Management by logging change requests, updating registers, and coordinating approvals.
- Prepare and submit Monthly Accruals and Cost Reports for review.
- Help build and maintain Project Schedules inPrimavera P6, including inputting progress updates and generating lookahead schedules.
- Oversee Subcontractor Administration collecting timesheets, tracking deliverables, and coordinating communications.
- Assist in Field Installation Work Package (FIWP)Creation and Management, ensuring documents are complete and up to date.
- Perform Other Support Duties as Required to keep project execution on track.
- University degree or college diploma in construction management, engineering or related field an asset.
- Proven oral and written communication skills with clients, management, and field personnel.
- 2-3 years of experience in Project Controls or Cost Management within Oil Sands industry is considered an asset.
- Understanding of budgeting, cost tracking, and earned value process.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
- Scheduling and estimation experience is considered an asset.
- Must be proficient in the use of MS office products (Excel, Project, Words, Etc).
- Knowledge and experience with site safety procedures.
- Experience with Microsoft, SharePoint and Teams.
