LCRA is looking for a Project Analyst to join the Transmission Project Management Office. You will be part of the team that leads with integrity to drive the successful execution of LCRA TSC's Capital project portfolio which efficiently managing LCRA's resources. The types of projects you will be supporting include various types of Transmission Lines and Substations. You Will Be Trusted To
- Help project managers by handling project control duties like plan development, cost monitoring, progress reporting, and document management.
- Provide support throughout the project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, control, and closeout.
- Identify, investigate, and record differences or inconsistencies, as well as track and relay project status and information to project managers and work package managers.
- Address scheduling issues, resource conflicts, costs, and accounting structures and bring up issues to the Project Manager as necessary.
- Establish and uphold files following recordkeeping and records retention and documentation guidelines.
- Supervise the conclusion of project accounting framework and maintenance of records post-project finalization.
- Stay informed on LCRA project management tools and software, develop project schedules, and train others.
- Support the team to ensure adequate quality control measures are in place to support project goals.
- Review and analyze the argument with the project manager and team members. Work with the project collaborators to capture and detail the needs and desired end-state for the project.
- Communicate with project managers and collaborators to guarantee accurate and timely sharing of information.
- Promote collaboration, effective decision-making, and the development of solutions and capture and share lessons learned.
- Research and suggest new project controls approaches to enhance project management processes and apply knowledge and experience to address challenges.
- Ensure that projects are conducted in alignment with all relevant LCRA policies and procedures.
- Uphold a complete comprehension of LCRA project control methodologies and commence process improvement. Provide counsel to project managers and management individuals regarding the explanation of project control policies, programs, and procedures.
- Assist in improving department processes to boost staff efficiency and address management issues.
- Ensure excellent customer service and support team unity. Foster positive connections with teammates, customers, and interested parties.
- Represent Project Management Office positively and with integrity.
- Travel independently or with a small team to project sites as needed.
- Nine or more years of experience in project administration, project management, accounting, business analytics, data analysis, budget analysis or administrative support or other relevant experience. A degree(s) in project management, business, accounting, finance, economics, engineering, construction management, math, science, computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

- Experience in PeopleSoft
