We are looking for a Program Manager, Talent Strategies to join our team! This position is responsible for designing and delivering enterprise – wide talent management solutions and services. The focus is on building an engaged and high-performing workforce that aligns with our business goals and culture. Key areas include the performance and talent cycle (i.e. goal setting, talent assessment, succession planning), development planning, skills strategy, and our leadership framework.
This position also plays a key role in strengthening leadership and team effectiveness across the organization.
Major Responsibilities:
•Under the direction of the Manager, Talent Strategies, this role is responsible for full cycle development and delivery of talent management initiatives including talent assessment, succession planning, performance cycle, development planning, leadership framework.
•Thoughtful program design that considers collaboration from key contributors such as other Human Resources team members, ENMAX employees and leaders, eliciting feedback on business and change management needs through focus groups and interviews, best practice research, inclusion practices, industry trends, and analyses of key talent metrics.
•Oversees program implementation that includes communications plans, HRIS requirements, user resources and guides.
•Contributes to the implementation of corporate-wide programs (ex. mentoring and coaching, leadership development, employee engagement) that consider broader human capital practices.
•Manages vendors and external partners to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of key programs.
•Analyses workforce issues and trends both internally and externally in order to identify and recommend best-in-class talent management strategies and solutions.
•Research and develops a skills strategy and workforce planning process, supporting future workforce capabilities and needs.
•Develops communications, business cases, presentation, and reporting in the aforementioned areas to assist in the timely and accurate communication of updates, data, and analytics to senior leaders.
Education Required:
•Bachelor’s degree in commerce/business, Social Science
Qualifications & Experience:
•Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience
•Experience and expert knowledge in developing and implementing Talent Management solutions (e.g. employee engagement, succession planning, talent assessment, retention initiatives)
•Knowledge of organizational development/effectiveness principles and processes, methods and techniques
•Experience using Workday or similar HCM systems in a talent management, performance, or other HR related capacity
•Demonstrated project management experience
•Experience developing and reporting on learning metrics and key performance indicators
•Previous group facilitation experience and training
•Demonstrated experience in building successful relationships with stakeholders
Competencies:
•Ability to lead, organize and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives
•Communication skills, including preparing board of directors’ material, group facilitation and presentation skills
•Interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate to achieve a desired result
•Demonstrates analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies that inform decision-making and measure impact.
•A curiosity and desire to research future trends in human capital and talent management
•Ability to develop solutions and communications to suit all levels of an organization.

Location: This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) work force with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
