The Program Manager, Permit Information Management System (PIMS), provides the critical functions necessary for the effective administration of DC Water’s Permit Information Management System (an Oracle product – OPAL), ensuring effective management of permit data. The role collaborates with management to deliver research, analysis, and technical solutions aligned with the business requirements of the Permit Operations, with a particular focus on systems, applications, and products (i.e., PIMS). The role is responsible for maintaining SOPs, processes, reports, forms, QA/QC of PIMS systems and data and conducting associated training.

5-7 years of progressive experience in designing and/or implementing information systems and technology.
Demonstrated experience in SDLC methodologies, solution design, and managing large-scale IT projects.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems technology, management information systems or related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience as a technical writer in a systems environment like Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
Master’s degree in computer science, information systems technology, management information systems or related field from an accredited college or university.
Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint)
