To support our growth, we are currently seeking a Program Coordinator to support federal energy efficiency programs throughout the state of Georgia. This role is key to the success of residential energy efficiency market-based programs and the new federal IRA initiatives. This role requires employees to be in the office 80% of the time at our Atlanta office and is part of a broad team of subject matter experts who work directly with clients, stakeholders, customers, etc. You will be part of a larger team of program management outreach, technical, and marketing personnel. Preference will be given for prior implementation experience in energy efficiency and contractor engagement. Work with the Department of Energy, Community Action Agencies, Housing Authorities, and municipal organizations is a plus. Knowledge of the Inflation Reduction Act is also a plus.
- Assist in the implementation of utility energy efficiency programs that incorporate installation of energy efficiency equipment in residential properties.
- Work with Program Management team(s) to assist with development of policies and procedures for residential energy efficiency programs.
- Familiarity with state and federal programs, including Georgia Power, Department of Energy, and/or the Inflation Reduction Act.
- Coordinate program schedules and events in various capacities.
- Liaison with client(s) to identify and define program requirements, scope, and objectives, and ensure clients’ needs are met as the program evolves.
- Assist with program processing, providing quality control and quality assurance duties related to the database that tracks all projects and their status for the programs.
- Identify process improvements with a focus on continuous quality enhancements.
- Active participation to collaborate on program changes and new client requirements that have an impact on the customer and contractor experience.
- Manage customer or client escalations which may involve root cause analysis and other written responses that will be presented to the client and senior leadership for review.
- Assist with reporting of key metrics that drive performance, identifying areas of continuous improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance our service deliverables.
- Assist with design, development, and execution of detailed and effective implementation and management plans, process flows, and quality controls.
- Assist in preparing forecasts, goals, and budgets.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to support further growth and lead business development activities.
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Sound business ethics, including protection of propriety and confidential information
- Excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computers, MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel), and CRM software
- Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients
- Strong time management and decision-making skills
- Prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and action plans
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with the ability to identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions
