Rockland Scientific is seeking a Production Technologist to join our team. The Production Technologist will kit, assemble, test and calibrate Rockland products, including sensors, printed circuit boards and complete instrument assemblies. Supports developing, assembling & testing prototype products. Provides service and troubleshooting on returned products.
1. Post-secondary Diploma in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical technology.
2. 3-5 years of experience as a Production Technologist, Electronics technician, or related for high-tech industries.
3. Reading and producing wiring diagrams and schematics.
4. Hands-on experience troubleshooting electronic boards and assemblies, including analog circuits.
1. Assemble components into finished products for stock and for specific orders as directed.
2. Test circuit boards, sensors and instruments.
3. Create & maintain production records of assembly, test & calibrations
4. Maintain and update assembly & test instructions, as required.
5. Service & troubleshoot products returning (RMA) to Rockland from customers.
6. Initiate and support the development of manufacturing, product and quality improvements.
7. Assist with prototype development, assembly and testing.
8. Support the inventory materials management process.
9. Provide internal and external technical support for Rockland’s products.

- Salary ranges from $50,000 to $70,000 annually, based on experience and skill level.
