- Develop and maintain a production schedule based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory levels.
- Determine the production capacity required to meet demand and ensure that resources are allocated appropriately.
- Generate and manage work orders, production BOM and material master data in system.
- Detect and resolve production issues with manufacture engineers and production team leads in time.
- Collaborate with material planner to ensure that the required raw materials and other resources are available at the right time and in the right quantities to meet the production schedule.
- Monitor WIP material supply flow and identifying any shortages or bottlenecks in usage based on the production scheduling.
- Track production performance and identifying any issues or delays and taking appropriate action to ensure production stays on schedule.
- Address and resolve any quality issues impacting production.
- Update and maintain production status report and shared dashboard in real time.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Continuously evaluate and improve production processes with manufacturing engineers to improve production efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas using all PPE and following all safety practices
- Ensure Occupational Health and Safety compliance with health and safety laws and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Proven experience in production planning or a similar role.
- Familiarity with production scheduling software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) accreditation or other relevant certification is advantageous.
- Proven electrical or mechanical manufacturing work experience is an asset.
