The Advanced/Lead Technical Production Operator is a highly skilled manufacturing team member responsible for executing complex production tasks involving electronics, soldering, and diagnostics. This role serves as a technical resource on the production floor, supporting training, troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives. · Perform advanced electronics assembly and soldering tasks, including rework and fine-pitch components.
· Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and small parts to assemble the product to exact specifications.
· Operate and maintain specialized equipment and test instruments.
· Lead in-process inspections and support quality assurance efforts.
· Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues and implement improvements.
· Mentor and train junior operators on technical procedures and best practices.
· 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing or a related field.
· Soldering skills and familiarity with IPC standards.
· Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation.
· Basic understanding of electrical systems and calibration procedures, Familiarity with ESD protocols and IPC standards a plus.
· Ability to work independently and lead by example.
· Experience with PCB rework, testing, and repair.
· Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
