Job Summary
Provides support for all facets of production, including safety and environmental compliance, the safety of personnel, and efficient and effective maintenance of company assets. Assists Manager with planning activities during the design phase and projects and leads all production actions. Takes a proactive approach to production to ensure that all goals and obligations can be met. Coordinates efforts with the maintenance team to maximize equipment availability and continually improve maintenance and production operations. Presents a positive and professional image to customers, employees, peers, and the public.
Key Accountabilities
•Ability to perform responsibilities consistently and professionally in a safe, caring, dependable, and efficient manner.
•Adheres to all Gen6 Proppants safety and environmental requirements and participates in program development and reviews.
•Oversees production team activities and plant operation.
•Assures that Safety and Environmental is very prominent in the Operations environment through demonstration and enforcement of all Company Safety and Environmental standards.
•Responsible for maintaining operating guidelines and instructions, for sustaining operation of all plant facilities.
•Assists in the preparation of detailed efficiency studies and analyzes operations to conceptualize needs and determine requirements for the operations sustainability and improvements.
•Coordinates with Production Manager in support of preventative maintenance plan for all facility equipment.
•Maintains a professional and high-level contact with customers, vendors and management.
•Assures compliance with all associated regulations (MSHA, OSHA, etc.) which include documentation and reporting for each regulation.
•Consolidates data and prepares weekly and monthly activity reports as requested.
•Manager duties shall be delegated when out of the area for business or personal reasons.
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, subordinates and company officers, managers, clients, vendors, and suppliers.
•Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times, including the ability to recognize situations in which confidentiality is required.
•Performs special projects and job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Two years of experience in MSHA and OSHA.
•Must have advanced knowledge and skill using computers. Including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer and Outlook.
•Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable under the Company’s vehicle policy.
•Knowledge in silica sand mine, MSHA Part 46, OSHA regulation and compliance.

Working Conditions
•Work may involve driving Company vehicles.
•Frequently be exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
•Work is performed primarily outdoors, in high noise, high and low temperature areas with some exposure to environmental stress.
•Work is performed out of doors in all weather conditions and uneven terrain.
•Proper personal protective equipment must be worn for all work duties.
•Work is performed in a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, with 5 days on and 2 days off With on call every other weekend. There will occasionally be on call to check availability to fill in.
•Must be able to remain calm and focused during emergency situations.
•Requires excellent driving skills and driving record.
•Frequently be exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
•Work in high, precarious places. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); fumes or airborne particles; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
•The noise level in the work environment may be above 90 dB.
