Production Engineer Location: Eastanollee, GA Job Type: Full-time, Exempt Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Sark Wire is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Plan, manage, and monitor the production schedule to ensure timely completion.

•

Communicate schedules and work orders to production technicians and workers.

•

Maintain and manage secondary material inventory, including packaging materials, lubricants, and chemicals.

•

Ensure proper lubricant and chemical compositions are maintained.

•

Report equipment failures to maintenance for prompt resolution.

•

Ensure compliance with ISO requirements and industry standards.

•

Develop and communicate customer specifications to production teams.

•

Track and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess production efficiency.

•

Promote and uphold a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies.

•

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

•

Oversee a team of at least three non-supervisory production technicians and workers.

•

Provide training, guidance, and support to employees.

•

Plan, assign, and direct work while ensuring high performance and efficiency.

•

Evaluate performance, address concerns, and resolve issues in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

•

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in a relevant field with at least one year of related experience.

•

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), inventory management, order processing, and manufacturing software.

•

Language & Communication Skills: Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, write professional reports, and effectively communicate with teams.

•

Mathematical Ability: Proficiency in probability, statistical analysis, geometry, fractions, percentages, and ratios.

•

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and reasoning ability to interpret complex instructions and troubleshoot issues.

•

Team-Oriented: Ability to work collaboratively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

•

Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and potential exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals.

•

Work environment may include loud noise levels typical of manufacturing settings.

•

Physically required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, and communicate effectively.

•

Occasionally required to lift/move up to 30 lbs.

•

Must have clear close and distance vision with depth perception.
