Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Procurement Analyst to support the Strategic Supply Management team, focusing primarily on the review and execution of upcoming software maintenance renewals. This role will also support legal and cybersecurity areas when needed. The ideal candidate will ensure procurement processes align with organizational and regulatory requirements while managing vendor relationships and maintaining thorough documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
•Review upcoming software maintenance contract expirations and assess ongoing business needs.
•Propose renewal terms and execute agreements and purchase orders.
•Ensure all contract documents comply with internal policies and state guidelines.
•Process change orders and prepare purchase orders as needed.
•Post solicitations to state contract reporting platforms as required.
•Attend project and vendor meetings, including occasional onsite visits.
•Maintain comprehensive and organized procurement records.
•Support RFP development, including bid documentation, pricing inquiries, and addendums.
•Identify and engage potential vendors, including MWBE, MBE, and SDVOB suppliers.
•Draft required contract documentation based on RFP outcomes.
Skills & Competencies:
•Proficiency in SAP and Ariba is required.
•Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
•Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
•Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
•Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, especially in data interpretation.
•Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
•Strong written and verbal communication.
•Experience working in highly regulated environments, preferably in government or utilities.
•Familiarity with New York State procurement processes is preferred.
Education & Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field, or a minimum of 2 years of military experience in logistics.
•Minimum of 1 year of procurement or relevant experience, particularly in IT software licensing and maintenance contracts.

Pay: $34.00 - $37.00 per hour
