Procurement Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Coordinator to support and optimize our company's procurement processes within the engineering sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, vendor management, and ensuring the supply chain operates efficiently. This role requires strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and a comprehensive understanding of procurement and supply chain management to support our production goals and maintain cost-effective purchasing practices.

Duties

- Support procurement strategies aligned with company objectives, focusing on cost savings and quality improvement.

- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

- Expedite and track vendor document submittals, track inventory levels, and forecast needs.

- Source new suppliers and evaluate existing vendors based on pricing, quality, delivery times, and reliability.

- Coordinate with engineering teams to understand material requirements and ensure timely procurement to meet schedules.

- Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements in sourcing strategies.

- Oversee purchasing activities from requisition to order fulfillment while maintaining accurate documentation.

- Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels and streamline procurement workflows.

- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements across all purchasing activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
