· Handling materials in fume hood with PPE and material handling equipment
· Handling battery components and assemble various cells based on design specifications
· Perform equipment calibration and maintenance per manufacturer’s guidelines
· Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment
· Ability to interpret and execute tasks according to SOPs
· Hands-on experience working in a laboratory setting
· Attention to detail and careful handling is critical
· Ability to lift up to 40-45 pounds
· Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), distant vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more)
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to safely wear necessary protective equipment in designated areas i.e. lab coat, safety glasses. Work is mainly performed in a laboratory environment. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work with fine powders and toxic or caustic chemicals.
