Process Safety Manager
Job Summary:
The Marathon Martinez Renewables has an opening for a Process Safety Manager position. The Process Safety Manager will provide guidance and leadership in the development, implementation, and execution of OSHA Process Safety Management/EPA Risk Management Plan programs and general duty requirements with the goal of ensuring compliance, reducing, and eliminating hazardous events, and promoting a healthy process safety culture. The available schedules for the position are 9/80, 5/40 or 4/1, after hours calls are required occasionally to support a 24 hour operations and rarely support of TAR.
Job Responsibilities* Provide guidance and leadership in the development, implementation, and execution of OSHA Process Safety Management/EPA Risk Management Plan programs and general duty requirements with the goal of ensuring compliance, reducing, and eliminating hazardous events, and promoting a healthy process safety culture.Education, Experience and Skills Minimum Qualifications* Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field in areas such as operations, maintenance, engineering, technical services, process safety, environmental or safety. (Education must be obtained/completed prior to start date) (Degree must be accredited in US.)
Preferred Qualifications* Bachelors Degree in Engineering discipline such as Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Petroleum Engineering is preferred.
