As a member of the production department, you will be responsible for monitoring of the refinery process to achieve targets for product quantity and quality, while maintaining a safe work environment.
Monitor and control the process through operation of various areas of the refinery using instrumentation and mechanical equipment; adjust operating parameters manually, or via the main operating control room (MOCR); troubleshoot and identify equipment problems and implement solutions; unloading and reloading trucks for product movement; sample analysis submissions and analysis.
As an emergency response member, completion and retention of qualifications for fire and rescue situations is a mandatory function of the process operator position.
Site hours of operation require this positon to work a 24-hour operation work schedule of 12 hour rotating day and night shifts.
