The

Process (Asset) Engineer

is officed in Midland, Texas and provides technical support to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of gas plants, pipelines, and field assets in the Permian Basin. The Engineer performs trouble shooting and failure analysis and develops recommendations to improve equipment and performance. The Engineer works closely with multiple stakeholders including Operations, EHS, Reliability, and Commercial.

Responsibilities May Include

Required Qualifications

+ Travel to field and training locations + Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, in conditions that may include heat, humidity, or other inclement weather + Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (such as steel-toe shoes, ear and eye protection) + Lift and transport articles weighing up to 50 pounds + Occasionally exert pulling force of 130 pounds + Occasionally climb various ladders

Preferred Qualifications

+ Climb up to 200 feet in height + Work in enclosed spaces

Midstream

The Phillips 66 Midstream business is a safe, reliable, and trusted provider for the movement, storage, gathering, and processing of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 70,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. Our capabilities include extensive natural gas gathering and processing operations, enhancing our wellhead-to-market strategy. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.
