Principal Quality Engineer (Defense Exp)

Location: Merrimack, NH (Onsite) Duration: 12-Month Contract

Responsibilities & Requirements:

- Lead process improvement initiatives using Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred).

- Manage hardware and software verification & validation (V&V) for complex engineering projects.

- Oversee quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with standards.

- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.

- Facilitate root-cause analysis, failure reviews, and lessons learned.

- Track and report program performance against objectives.

- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to implement improvements.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8+ years of experience in quality or engineering.

- Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in defense or aerospace required

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
