The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $114,332 to $157,208
Job Summary
This position is a supports the headcount governance across the Networks business. This position prepares materials, reports, and analysis, for Governance Bodies and Networks meetings, and tracks the CEO and Operating Company Presidents achievement of Networks and Presidents objectives. This position tracks, reports and supports the Planning & Regulatory Economics external services budgets.
Additional responsibilities of this position may include support of Networks-wide initiatives.
This position reports to the Manager of Business Planning and is located in Orange, CT.
Key Responsibilities•Perform the Headcount tracking and evaluation activities, partnering with the People & Organization area and the various Networks teams, to provide analysis for actuals performance vs budget, rate cases. Identifies risks associated with budget/REVs, working with business areas to summarize key drivers of budget variances – 30%
•Facilitate and create content for executive-level presentations, communications and reports, for Committee meetings, as well as the Networks and AVANGRID Board Meetings – 25%
•Manage the tracking / achievement of Networks Objectives and Presidents Objectives for the Networks leadership team and the People and Organization team. – 15%
•Develop and support other analysts on the team. – 20%
•Lead Planning & Regulatory Economics team’s strategic projects, evaluating, and implementing best practices across the department. Participate in Networks-wide projects in support of Global initiatives or Networks CEO driven initiatives - 10%
Required Qualifications
•Minimum 10 years of related experience, Utility industry preferred
•Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or other related fields of study with an emphasis on problem solving and analytic skills.
•Position requires strong qualitative, and problem-solving skills
•Experience leading and participating on cross-functional efforts (projects, processes, teams)
•Excellent communicating and influencing skills with ability to collaborate, influence and get work done with/through others at multiple levels of the organization.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver quality work products
•Senior team member with inclination and ability to mentor other team members

•Proficiency with the use of analytics to communicate and present the effectiveness of current processes as well as propose and implement process improvements
