Preventative Maintenance Technician

This position is located at 801 Pittsburgh drive, Delaware OH.

PRIMARY JOB OBJECTIVE: Executes daily/monthly preventative maintenance activies to ensure maximum uptime of manufacturing equipment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Maintains mechanical and electrical devices used in the plant, including all production equipment and facility.

Uses miscellaneous hand and power tools, puller, rigging devices, fork trucks, measuring tools and basic machine tools as needed.

(Toolbox and tools provided by the employee)

Basic understanding of skills are in the areas of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plant systems.

Maintains safe and orderly working conditions and performs work in

such ways as to not endanger oneself or fellow employees.

Responsible for cleanup and general housekeeping of work area.

Responsible for keeping supervisor informed of work-related problems and the

Progress of work assignments, accurate labor reporting.

Ensures all relevant information after the PM is completed is documented in our computerized maintenance system.

Pull and label oil samples for offsite analyzis.

Mechanical: Grease equipment, check oil levels, check belt conditions, checking bearings, rebuild heat exchangers.

Electrical: Check electrical connections for tightness, meg motors for monitoring over time, change motor brushes, change electrical cabinet filters.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be able to read, write, use shop math.

Knowledge consistent with skills required performing the job responsibilities as

Outlined in the ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS section.

Able to lift 100 pounds, push/pull 300 pounds, lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach,

walk and, otherwise position items being worked upon.

Able to work around hot metal equipment, on lift equipment in the building ceiling, and on the building roof.

Capable of working in a highly electro-magnetic area.

Pay: $27.35 - $32.94 per hour
