We are seeking an experienced and Pressure Truck Operator to join our team. This position involves safely operating pressure units to load, transport, and pump fluids during well servicing, maintenance, and pipeline operations. The ideal candidate will have solid mechanical aptitude, a strong safety focus, working knowledge of TDG, and the ability to adapt to changing work conditions and schedules in a demanding field environment.
- Operate and maintain pressure trucks used for transferring and pumping fluids
- Safely load, transport, and pump fluids according to job specifications and company procedures
- Follow dispatch instructions and coordinate with field supervisors and other crew members
- Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner (e.g., field tickets, FLHAs, inspection forms, etc.)
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, as well as electronic driver logs
- Handle hazardous materials in compliance with TDG and OH&S regulations
- Monitor gauges and pressures to ensure safe operating conditions
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning on equipment as required
- Work in varying weather conditions and perform manual labour as required to support operations
- Maintain communications with Dispatch and coworkers
- Participate in safety meetings, hazard assessments, and other company safety initiatives
- Collaborate with Operations, Safety, Maintenance, and Accounting departments
- Maintain professionalism and respectful communication with drivers, clients, and co-workers
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating pressure trucks in the Oil & Gas industry
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s licence with clean abstract
- Standard First Aid, Common Safety Orientation (CSO), and H2S Alive safety tickets
- Strong working knowledge of TDG, Hours of Service, and OH&S requirements
- Solid understanding of fluid pressure systems and pumping operations
- Ability to complete all required documentation accurately and efficiently
- Physically capable of performing hands-on work in outdoor environments
- Willingness to work extended hours during the winter season; no set schedule – work as required
- Proficiency with computers (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems
