Overview:
The Mixer and Press Operator is an hourly member of the Production Associate Team. This position is a crucial role in the manufacturing process and requires exceptional attention to detail to accurately mix raw materials and produce quality parts.
Responsibilities:
•Operate R7, R9 and R18 mixers and related equipment.
•Accurately weight and measure materials following specified formulas.
•Load materials into the mixers by hand (up to 30 lb.) frequently throughout shift.
•Lift up to 50 lb. periodically throughout shift.
•Operate manual and automatic presses.
•Operate forklift safely to load/unload materials from presses, shipping etc. as needed.
•Load/Unload product from Kiln as needed.
•Aid in process improvements and troubleshooting as required.
•Participation in 5S teams for each department.
•Operate machinery in a safe manner at all times.
•Abide by all company rules at all times.
•Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
•Must have reliable attendance.
•Must be clean shaven to ensure a proper seal is achieved with a respirator.
•Accuracy, attention to detail and good communication skills.
•Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
•Good interpersonal and reporting skills (written and oral).
•Team player but can also work independently.
•Ability to be on their feet for the entire shift.
•Must have reliable transportation.

Requirements:
•Ability to read weights and measure to perform machine operations. Ability to write measurements on equipment. Ability to operate basic hand tools such as hammers and wrenches.
•Ability to stand for long periods of time standing up and walking. Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.

Pay: $20.72-$23.00 per hour
