Press Operator II- 2nd Shift

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for pressing/cutting metals for our products in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include:

- Maintaining a safe and efficient work ethic

- Cutting to exact measurements

- Minimizing scraps

- Maintaining area cleanliness

- Ability to setup the breaks, shear, and saw independently

- Ability to setup die punch press independently

- Ability to train and educate employees on breaks, shear, saw, and die punch presses

- Additional items as assigned by manager

PRINCIPAL CONTACTS INSIDE/OUTSIDE THE COMPANY

This position interacts with other manufacturing personnel, project managers and area supervisor.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

- High School graduate or GED

- 5+ years’ experience in shear and press preferred.

EQUIPMENT USED

This position will use metal cutting machinery and fork truck.

WORKING AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS

This position works on the manufacturing floor. They must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
