Position Overview: As the Pre-Construction Manager, you’ll play a critical role in the success of each project, owning the early stages of the design-build process. You'll collaborate closely with our design, sales, and production teams to ensure each project is accurately scoped, budgeted, and set up for success.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Lead the pre-construction process from initial client handoff to construction start.

•

Coordinate with architects, designers, and sales to develop project scope and budgets.

•

Oversee feasibility assessments, estimates, site visits, and pre-construction planning.

•

Build and manage project schedules and key deliverables for the pre-construction phase.

•

Evaluate and finalize construction documents, plans, and specifications.

•

Conduct value engineering exercises to align project design with client budget.

•

Serve as liaison between sales/design and production to ensure a smooth handoff.

•

Participate in client meetings to communicate scope, timelines, and project readiness.

Qualifications:

•

5+ years of experience in residential construction or pre-construction management, preferably in a design-build environment.

•

Strong understanding of residential construction methods, project costing, and building codes.

•

Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.

•

Proficient in project management software (e.g., Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Microsoft Project).

•

Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple pre-construction projects simultaneously.

•

Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Estimating or related field preferred.
